Vectra Bank Colorado is excited to offer an opportunity as aBusiness Bankerto an experienced candidate. We are seeking a proven, highly motivated individual to take on a portfolio and grow in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Essential Functions:

  • Key to this role will be one's ability to be a dynamic Team Player. While a successful candidate will need to be able to work independently, this individual will need to be able to collaborate with varying partners, while simultaneously navigating between topics and meetings, communicating effectively will be critical while leading and managing relationships/opportunities, both internally and externally. Focus on managing time and prioritizing workflows in a fast-paced environment will be critical.
  • Responsible for the growth, retention, and the expansion of a portfolio of existing Business Banking clients.

A successful Team Member will have the ability to source new relationships, evaluate new opportunities, and execute with a focus on results. Team Member will take a relationship approach with focus on managing opportunities to fruition, while nurturing the relationship through the overall business lifecycle.

  • Contributes to deposit growth by knowledgably offering and promoting banking solutions.
  • Seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts.
  • Recommends the appropriate solutions to clients as a trusted advisor to meet the objectives of clients.
  • Meets assigned revenue, growth, and production goals.
  • Gains complete knowledge of the business and personal financial needs of assigned customers.
  • Visits client locations regularly.
  • Builds knowledge of each assigned client and develops/manages a relationship plan for each.
  • Ensures client requests are met by addressing needs directly and/or engaging appropriate resources when necessary.
  • Meets or exceeds key performance measures, including but not limited to, portfolio growth, revenue/profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction key metrics.
  • Responsible for proactive client management, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, and vetting.
  • Complies with applicable company policies and all banking regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 4+ years of credit associated lending or other related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Advanced knowledge of lending and credit analysis are preferable.
  • Ability to expand business and commercial loans, client relationships, and demonstrate the knowledge to offer multiple bank products.
  • Solid experience in sales, loan processing, and closing processes.
  • Requires skills and experience in applicant vetting, interviewing, and character evaluation.
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of software applications, to include word processing, financial analytics, and the ability to navigate spreadsheets and other financials.
  • Manages a midsized commercial portfolio.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 - $100,000 depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. This position also can earn incentives on a quarterly basis. Earn more through performance.
